By placing an order on meandmaty.com you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy form the contract between you and Me & Maty. These terms are governed by Czech law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

2. Products & Pricing
Product Information
We do our best to display accurate product photos, descriptions, ingredient lists, and prices. Minor variations in colour or packaging may occur — these are not grounds for return unless materially different.
Prices
- All prices are shown in Euros (EUR)
- Prices include VAT applicable in your country of delivery
- Shipping costs are added at checkout based on your destination
- Prices are valid at the time of order placement
VAT
VAT is calculated based on your delivery country at the rate applicable in that EU member state (e.g., CZ 21%, SK 23%, DE 19%, FR 20%, etc.).

- Proceed to checkout — guest checkout, no account needed
- Enter your delivery and billing information
- Choose your shipping method
- Pay securely with credit/debit card via Stripe
- Receive instant order confirmation by email
When the Contract Is Formed
A binding purchase contract between you and Me & Maty is formed when we send you the order confirmation email. From this moment, we commit to deliver the products and you commit to receive and pay for them.
Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of: stock issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inability to deliver to your address. In such cases, you receive a full refund.
4. Payment
Accepted Methods
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) processed by Stripe
- Apple Pay / Google Pay on supported devices
Payment Security
All payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Me & Maty never sees or stores your card details.
When You’re Charged
Your card is charged immediately upon successful order placement. If you cancel your order before shipment, you receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Invoice
An invoice is automatically issued and sent to your email after order completion. You can request a corrected invoice (e.g., adding your company name/VAT number) within 14 days.
5. Delivery
Where We Ship
We deliver to all 27 EU member states. We do not currently ship outside the EU.
Delivery Times
- Czech Republic: 1–3 business days
- Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Poland: 3–5 business days
- Rest of EU: 5–10 business days
Shipping Costs
Calculated at checkout based on destination. Free shipping for orders over 1,000 EUR within Czech Republic. For complete shipping information see our Shipping Policy.
Risk Transfer
Risk of damage or loss passes to you when you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. Always inspect your package upon delivery and report visible damage immediately to the courier.
6. Right of Withdrawal
As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt — without giving any reason.
How to Withdraw
Send a clear statement to sa@meandmaty.com stating your wish to withdraw. Include your order number and we’ll guide you through the return process.
Effects of Withdrawal
We refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs (excluding any extra costs from your choice of more expensive delivery), within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to cosmetic products which have been unsealed after delivery (Art. 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU) for hygiene reasons.

7. Warranty & Defects
Statutory Warranty
All Me & Maty products are covered by the EU legal warranty of 2 years from delivery (or until the product’s expiration date if shorter for cosmetic products).
If You Receive a Defective Product
Contact us at sa@meandmaty.com within 14 days of discovering the defect. Include photos and your order number. We’ll arrange one of the following:
- Free repair (if possible)
- Free replacement
- Full refund including return shipping
- Partial refund (price reduction)
Cosmetic Products Expiry
Each product has a printed expiration date (PAO — Period After Opening) on the packaging. Use within this period for guaranteed efficacy.
8. Complaints & Disputes
Internal Resolution
For any complaints, contact us first at sa@meandmaty.com. We commit to respond within 14 days and resolve within 30 days of receiving your complaint.
Out-of-Court Resolution
If we can’t resolve your complaint, you can use:
Court Resolution
If all else fails, the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. As an EU consumer, you also retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters or extreme weather
- Strikes, lockouts, or labour disputes
- Pandemics or government-imposed restrictions
- Postal/courier service disruptions
- Power outages or internet infrastructure failures
In such cases, we’ll communicate with you promptly and find a fair solution.
10. Final Provisions
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Czech law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Where Czech law contradicts EU consumer protection, EU law prevails.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes don’t apply retroactively — orders placed under previous Terms remain governed by those Terms. We’ll always show the “Last updated” date at the top.
Language
These Terms are written in English. In case of translation conflicts, the English version prevails.
